Meet The Owner
Breaking Bad Habits, founded and established in 2020 by Sydney Sutton, is devoted to offering humane, pawsitive, practical solutions that work for the challenges dogs and their humans face in everyday life. Sydney believes dog training is both an art and science. She brings to all private dog training and classes proven strategies and techniques to strengthen the human-canine bond. Although we are based in Los Angeles, California, our work transcends geographical boundaries by offering virtual dog training via live online video conferencing as well! Sydney's extensive knowledge and experience of working with a variety of animals ranging from dogs to horses, gives her a unique perspective on the way their brains function. She is currently working on getting her vet-tech as well to further her understanding of how our fur baby's bodies work down to the core. Just as your therapist would say, you can't fix it unless you work on the core problem, and that's exactly what Sydney does! After years of being deemed the "dog whisperer" and a big push from COVID she created Breaking Bad Habits. Sydney hopes that by starting an affordable training program for dog owners, she will not only make everyone's lives (human and dog alike) easier, but keeps dogs out of the shelter!
